Production and use of solar energy involves fusion of many technologies and related products. Quality and reliability of the PV Panels, Inverters and the Storage Devices are of great importance in any PV Power installation. For an ideal solar power plant, we need to choose an installation facing south (location dependant) with a tilt angle best suited to the direction of the Sun and the environment is to be absolutely free of shade and the sky and the air are to be clear and cool, to bring out the best possible energy yield. But in real world conditions these happen very rarely. Also installation roofs that hold the panels have different orientations. Every one of these factors can impact the energy yield of a solar power plant. Different solar panels based on different technologies react differently to real-world conditions. Above this, power conditioning, intelligence of the Inverter, customer priorities and temporal distribution of the usage pattern, optimum design of the plant for overall energy efficiency, components and gadgets used in the energy network, earthing and protection are also of great relevance.


Our Technology

Our group of Companies function in the advanced realm of Solar Holography that facilitates diffractive energy concentration and spectral splitting. Panels

We offer two types of panels, made of (a) silicon cells and (b) advanced multi-junction PV Cells. Solar Panels of our modules use special quality high efficiency solar cells, scientifically integrated and encapsulated to perform reliably under testing summer heat and flooding rain conditions. CIGS Multi-junction cells are more effective in regions with partial shade and diffuse sunlight, resulting in higher energy yield. Light Soaking Effect (please see the Figures under Solar Facts) makes the technology different.

Ordinary PV modules have a glass surface that strongly reflects sunlight. Our modules use patented anti-glare glass that adds to the efficiency. The Panels are manufactured by applying latest robotic technologies; so as to have precision, repeatability, reliability and quality. The Silicon Panels we use are certified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and also by a set of highly reputed International Certification Agencies. The Panels carry a rated WARRANTY of 25 years, under standard operating conditions.

Inverter

The Inverters are designed to have high efficiency, intelligence and several other associated advanced features. These brainy inverters provide Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), pure sine wave output and programmable charging and discharging, to ensure higher battery life. Made with non-compromising high quality components, the Inverters yield years of dependable and trouble free performance. While our competitors offer just two year Warranty, our invertors carry a WARRANTY of 5 years.



Battery Pack

Our battery pack uses India’s most reliable and high quality special grade tubular batteries, which are especially made for demanding solar applications. This, along with our brainy Inverter, high efficiency Panels and our low loss system design ensure optimum charging, greater battery life, higher charge-discharge cycles and higher effective energy yield. Our Batteries also carry a WARRANTY of 5 years.



Importance of Plant Design

A Solar Power Plant is much more than just a set of connected panels, inverters and battery. Design plays a significant role in its performance, overall efficiency and energy yield, trouble free performance and longevity of life. The design is to be made as per the load requirements, its temporal spread and the usage pattern. Our Solar Plants are professionally designed to yield optimum performance.




Installation

Before the installation, our engineers do the site survey so as to ensure optimum influx of Sunlight. Structure and fixtures used for the installation of solar panels are very important. Since the Panels carry a rated Warranty of 25 years, the structure must withstand and remain intact under testing heat, heavy rain and wind conditions. Unfortunately, this is an area that is neglected or compromised by most of the suppliers. Green Sun Solar Plants come with well-engineered, prefabricated and specially treated structures made of corrosion resistant materials. Our systems use special grade solar cables so that heat loss and aging are reduced. Proper electrical earth connection is another important aspect that we take care of during the installation. Thus, our installations are done in a totally scientific manner, ensuring safety and performance.
